Experience

Cajini & Maadani

From the creators of the world’s only museum dedicated to alcohol - All About Alcohol, comes a journey that celebrates Goa’s most iconic spirit, Feni, through two distinct yet connected expressions: Cajini and Maadani.

Cajini, launched first, marked the beginning of a new era for Goan craftsmanship. Conceptualized by Nandan Kudchadkar, it brings fresh life to Cashew Feni, blending age-old distilling traditions with a refined, modern sensibility. More than just a bottle, Cajini is an ideal one that honours Goa’s liquid heritage while inviting the world to see it in a new light.

Then came Maadani, a tribute to the spirit that started it all, Maadachim Feni, made from the heart of the coconut palm. Long before today’s bottled spirits, this was the drink that flowed through Goan villages. It was crafted by the Reindérs — toddy-tappers who rose with the sunrise, climbed palms barefoot, and gathered fresh sap that would become Goa’s very first spirit.

Every bottle of Maadani carries that story forward, the connection between the land, the trees, and the people whose skill and spirit shaped it over generations.

Together, Cajini and Maadani capture two sides of Goa, one polished and contemporary, the other earthy and rooted in tradition. Both spring from the same vision that inspires the All About Alcohol Museum: to celebrate not just what’s poured into a glass, but the history, hands, and heart that make it truly Goan.
