The Portuguese Abode reflects Goa’s colonial charm and the intimate spirit from which the philosophy of romance was born at Calizz. Inspired by Abbé Faria, the Goan hypnotist, this room blends Indo-Portuguese design with a Goan touch. The focal point of the space is its pair of four poster beds, “Senhor” and “Senhora,” dressed in fine Macau lace. A beautiful in-room jacuzzi creates a serene, intimate escape. The bathroom continues the narrative with a Portuguese-style design especially designed for candle lit showers while its door holds a striking piece by Gustav Klimt, Girlfriends. The space is beautifully decorated, gently taking you back in time.
